Ty'n y Wern is set in its own grounds of extensive lawn areas with well-tended flower beds and trees, and has ample car parking space, providing the ideal setting for you, whether you wish to just relax and enjoy the surroundings, or have a more energetic sightseeing break in the splendour of North Wales.
Ty'n y Wern, (House in the Meadow), is just outside the picturesque market town of Llangollen, set in some of the most beautiful and spectacular scenery in North Wales, and is ideally situated as a touring base for North and Mid Wales, including the Borderlands, with many attractions within easy travelling distance.
There are leisure centres and golf clubs at Llangollen, Chirk, Wrexham and Oswestry (We are 1/2 a mile from the Vale of Llangollen golf course); Watersports at the renowned Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake); Chirk Marina on the Llangollen Canal; Superb shopping at Chester, including Cheshire Oaks; Cadfaels' Shrewsbury; Breathtaking scenery in the Snowdonia National Park; or be spoilt for choice at the Abakhan Craft and Fabric Centre.
Llangollen is half a mile with a wealth of attractions and activities, including the world-famous annual international Eisteddfod.

Comfortable, spacious rooms, 2 of which have stunning views across the Vale of Llangollen, with one facing eastwards along the Vale. All rooms are en suite with a bath and power shower (fitted over the bath).
This room has an en suite shower room with wheel-in shower and folding seat, small hand wash basin and the appropriate hand-rails. Large enough for the required turning area within the room, suitable for the independent wheelchair user. Stunning views across the valley.
Comfortable, spacious room, with en suite bath and power shower (shower fitted over the bath). It faces eastwards along the Vale of Llangollen. Access is by a slightly steeper than normal staircase, so is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.

Breakfast is served daily from 08:00 to 09:30 (09:00 to 10:00 Sunday).
Ty'n y Wern is situated on the A5 primary route, half a mile east of Llangollen. If you are travelling on the A483 trunk road, we are 10 minutes from the Chirk by-pass. From the Halton roundabout (MacDonald's), follow the signs for the A5 (Llangollen). The nearest train station is at Chirk, and the nearest coach stop is at Llangollen with a local bus service from Llangollen to Chirk.
